There is only one way to bring "REAL CHANGE" to America. It will not come from the hope or belief that one person will bring this change to us. It is up to you, me, and millions of other Americans to make this change really happen. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, is going to do this for us. We complain that our government and our politicians are out of touch with the people of America. This is just not true.

The real truth is that WE have been so pre-occupied with ourselves that WE have become out of touch with our own government!

It is time for us all to be RESPONSIBLE and UNITED in a common cause. We need to take charge of how Washington governs over the United States of America. I don't believe that there is one of us that truly believes that our politicians have done, or continue to do, an acceptable job of serving the people that elected them into office. When an employee does not perform as well as expected, or as she or he had promised, their employment would be terminated. When a politician or parties of politicians do not perform as promised, we re-elect them and hope they will do better next time! What are the chances of that really happening? Our chances are greater when we gamble in Vegas.

So What Can We do?

“We hold these truths to be self-evident”.......................”That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, ....

"That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and institute new government"........

”But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism,"

"It is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such goverment, and to provide new guards for their future security."

 

Wow! Pretty powerful words aren’t they? People don’t seem to think or talk like that much anymore. It is a shame that this patriotic conviction we once had in this country has disappeared over the years. Now, do not get the wrong idea. We are not suggesting that we take up arms against our government. Our founding fathers put in place a peaceful remedy for us to use to get rid of a government that we feel is not performing to our expectations. It is called our "RIGHT TO VOTE" and here is how we will bring "REAL CHANGE TO AMERICA".

That's right. Forced one term limits for all members of Congress. This will send such a strong message to them that they would not dare continue to act in the manner that they have become accustomed to. Here is how we will "CHANGE AMERICA ONCE AND FOR ALL".

• From now on for every Election, no matter what political party, we will not vote to re-elect any incumbent
• We must register with the party of our choice to allow us to vote in all of the primary elections
• We will vote to remove any and all incubents, and if their is no opposition in any particular race it is up to the people of that electorate to present and elect a challenging write-in candidate to remove the incumbent
• We will continue to do this on a permanent basis
• We will strongly  urge Congress to make it law that no Congressional member be allowed to run for additional terms
• We will fight to make sure that the length of terms are not extended to a longer period of time
• If we find that any elected Member of Congress acts or behaves in a manner that we dissaprove of we must unite and bring efforts to have that person removed from office prior to the end of his/her term
• There are to be NO EXCEPTIONS
• It is every American Citizen's responsibity to help spread this grass roots effort and to unite in order to bring REAL CHANGE to America

Some of you might be thinking that you have a good Congressman or Senator and you don't want to get rid of him or her. A lot of people believe that the problems that we all face are not caused be the people they elected, but those from other States. It is time for all of us tol stop and think for a moment. These people cannot be living up to our expectations of them. If they were, we wouldn't be in the mess that we are in now, and there would be no need to bring up the issue.

There is only one solution.....They must all be voted out so we can start with a clean slate!

Can we possibly lose a few really good politicians? Of course we will, but that is the price that we must pay to fix this mess!

Remember what we keep hearing over and over again

• We are in a crisis situation
• Doing nothing is not an option
• There will be difficult times ahead
• Things will get worse before they get better
• We must all sacrifice in order to make thing better
• We cannot go down the same old path
• We need change
• No more of the same old

 

All of these statements are correct except for the plan to make the changes. Remember, no one, and I mean no one is going to make these changes for us. It is up to you, me, our families, freinds, and all Americans alike, to finally come together and UNITE!
